🧵 What to Provide with Your Digitizing Request:
Please include the following when reaching out:
- Your Name and Billing Address
- Preferred E-mail Address
- Machine Format Needed (e.g., PES, DST, EXP, JEF, VP3, etc.)
Not sure? I’ll send a DST file by default — compatible with most machines and software.
- Final Embroidery Size
Let me know your desired sew-out dimensions. If you need multiple sizes, just say so!
Note: Most designs can be resized up to ±10%, depending on density adjustments.
Every embroidery machine is different — I get it! If your file doesn’t stitch perfectly on the first go, I’m here to help make it right. I take pride in customer satisfaction and open communication, and I won’t consider a job complete until you’re happy with your design.
And rest assured:
- Your files and artwork are never shared without your permission.
- All personal information is used solely for billing and communication purposes.
After you approve the project quote:
- An invoice will be sent via e-mail (payable by major credit cards, PayPal, or Venmo)
- Your digitized design will be delivered in a zipped file or via secure download link

Welcome to Carrie Ellen Designs! By purchasing or downloading any digital embroidery or artwork files from our website, Etsy store, or any affiliated platform, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all purchases and downloads of digital products from our shop.
1. 📦 Digital Product Use
All designs are digital files only. No physical items will be shipped.
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for personal and/or limited commercial use, subject to the following conditions:

Uploading or selling the file or a derivative on any file-sharing platform or digital marketplace

2. ⚠️ Copyright & Ownership
All artwork, designs, and embroidery files are © Carrie Ellen Designs and remain the intellectual property of the creator. Purchasing a file does not transfer ownership or grant you exclusive rights.
3. 📧 Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the nature of digital files, all sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are not available once a file has been downloaded or delivered.
If you encounter a problem with your file, please contact us immediately so we can help resolve the issue.
4. 📂 File Delivery
Files will be delivered via:

Direct download after purchase (Shopify, Etsy, etc.)

Email or download link for custom embroidery files
It is your responsibility to back up your files. Replacement files can be resent upon request if proof of purchase is provided.
5. 📄 Custom Design Terms
If you’ve commissioned a custom embroidery or digital art file:

A preview or proof will be provided prior to final delivery

Minor revisions are included as part of your purchase

Additional revisions may incur an extra fee

Final files will be delivered in the format(s) agreed upon
Custom designs are still protected under copyright unless otherwise negotiated.
